I’ve encountered an issue with excessive credit usage while running a specific table. I’ve had to purchase additional credits multiple times to complete the table processing. After buying more credits, I selected “Run all columns that haven’t run or have errors,” assuming it would re-run only the rows that showed the “not enough clay credit” error. However, it ended up re-running the entire table, consuming even more credits unnecessarily. Can I get a credit refund?
Hi Ari, thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear about the unexpected credit usage. This can happen if there’s any stale or outdated data in the table. When a column or its dependencies get updated, it can mark the data as stale, which then prompts a full re-run and uses additional credits. Here’s a quick overview of this issue: Understanding Stale Data and Re-runs. Could you let me know the number of credits used, so we can review this further? I’ll be happy to help with any adjustments needed. Let me know if there’s anything else I can clarify!
I think I used like 45k credits total
I had about 20k
then i bought 10k
then another 15k
Added them back :) Anything else we can do for you ?
You’re the best! Thank you!
