Clay S. is there anyway to have this work so i can get an indication of segmentation that i need to do / how many tables im going to need (with the 50K row limit)
Each table in Clay has a limit of 50,000 rows. To determine your segmentation needs: 1. First, check your total data volume and divide by 50,000 to calculate the minimum number of tables needed 2. You can use the row limit feature to preview your segmentation: • Click the "Rows" button at the top of your table • Enter a starting row and row limit to test different segment sizes • This will help you visualize how to split your data effectively For example, if you have 150,000 rows total, you'll need at least 3 tables with 50,000 rows each.
Is that what you were looking for?
Looks like you're still looking for help.
If you’re dealing with a specific table, drop the URL below so we can help you quicker. Otherwise, someone from our team will be in touch soon!
Hey there Alex thanks for reaching out, let me check in with the team and see if we can take a look at this.
Alex - Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
It shows this error on every search where the results >25K LuisArturo Couple weeks ago though, it would tell you total search results, so then you could a) get a feel for how to segment and b) identify whether or not total results will be >50k thus needing two tabs etc.
Hey Alex! I checked your account and see you're on a free plan which limits results to 100 entries. For full visibility of search results over 25K, you'll need a different plan. Mind sharing your table URL so I can take a closer look? I saw this workspace: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/406519
We’re on the $349Usd Plan 10k credits per month…?
Can you send me the table url?
Or the workspace URL (any URL from when you're in that workspace) to help troubleshoot this correctly. Right now it looks like you're reaching out about a different workspace than before. Let me know once you have that URL!
Here mate
Got it - Sorry for the confusion with the workspace. Without seeing the URL or specific details, it's hard to diagnose the exact issue. I've checked with our team about why the preview isn't showing and added it as feedback in any case. Thank you and will get back to you ! :)
No stress!
Alex, I want to revisit these tables where you're not able to preview the import count. Do you happen to recall the table where that happened? The same as the ones with the import failures? (https://app.clay.com/workspaces/443643/workbooks/wb_E4YARiKwDUZX/tables/t_UJtCUUihCP3k/views/gv_Tx2nJpyEQfK2) I'd like to try to recreate this, but not sure of the right query to use to get as close as possible to your setup.
Wanted to check in here and see if you were still having trouble with your import limits / preview? I'd like to pin this down, if possible, but if you're not affected anymore, no wories.
I think you might have what you need here, and I don't want to be a nuisance. So I'll tentatively mark this closed for the moment. Please keep in touch if you hit other roadblocks!
