How do I do the follow? - change a big block of text in a cell into a list based on certain criteria - push contents from a cell into another Clay table (even if that content is not a list)
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hi Jeremy, thank you for reaching out. Could you clarify which enrichment you’re trying to extract your objects from and into a separate table? When running enrichments like our 'Find People' search or Ocean.io's 'Find Company Lookalikes' integration, you'll get columns containing multiple arrays of objects: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1198588230/edf411ba59402740c9a36663/CleanShot%2B2024-09-04%2Bat%2B22_10_48-402x.png?expires=1727708400&signature=b43f86887c49eb0626c01e86b4a049960a3a149871ab7923df79d3dd1c98551f&req=dSEuHsx2lYNcWfMW1HO4za7wSo2bM8k9uIrxY2c8I527PDYiDHDppxTtBDa%2B%0AzLXm%0A This format does not allow you to run enrichments at the lead level, so you may want to neatly split out the array into individual rows to then build your workflows and further enrichments on. This is where the write to table enrichment column comes into play! 1. Make sure your Clay API key is linked correctly. 2. Find and set up the write to table enrichment column by clicking on Add Column > Add Enrichment > Search and select "write to table" https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1198588222/d4a92cf3e6b44e9d9cc32a12/CleanShot%2B2024-09-04%2Bat%2B22_37_07.gif?expires=1727708400&signature=cfd062778f48c7287bbdb405481d20ed28aa7b663ac96e8af9f78e0a6d664280&req=dSEuHsx2lYNdW%2FMW1HO4zeEMvRgpy3ExRSscThA9gdc7uujDA5%2BRD7aTPc%2Ba%0AwyXp%0A 3. You can now choose to parse your arrays into an existing table or create a new blank table for them, by clicking on "new table": https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1198588221/35740cd5ae521ca40575b14f/CleanShot%2B2024-09-04%2Bat%2B22_45_05.gif?expires=1727708400&signature=49c8ae0c11ccba53385608fc6fb4bd2de05a16bae3c2ed4cb3d0f9de96527ce0&req=dSEuHsx2lYNdWPMW1HO4zYYum%2BRS0spSEjwzuFKfaMU%2B6C%2Bs1Bw6eyy9owjN%0AsM%2Bo%0A 4. We can now neatly write our array of objects into individual rows by inserting a column in the 'Select a List from a Column' field. Type a forward slash, choose the column containing the arrays, open its properties, and click "insert all items". https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1198588223/fe6a25fad6b335c33b8df700/CleanShot%2B2024-09-04%2Bat%2B22_53_01.gif?expires=1727708400&signature=4a238220362875a83dedf97da3cc54516df73c99a6d6cd3d1dfe093ca5796c87&req=dSEuHsx2lYNdWvMW1HO4zb4dzdmn%2B3aWPSFtzZLD9quWnLa8uHDIQZNzkJAh%0AGQjJ%0A 5. Now the last thing we'll have to do is specify which objects from the array we want to write to the new table, and to which columns we want to map them. We'll be able to select columns which are existing or create new ad-hoc columns for this purpose: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1198588228/89cb0cabfdcd9ab4d0fea87b/CleanShot%2B2024-09-04%2Bat%2B22_55_01.gif?expires=1727708400&signature=05be79a6e2cf7229f0a3ffb759b68170083c2ff2ec4f88138cea949404dc3086&req=dSEuHsx2lYNdUfMW1HO4zVYtYcOX2AyXnp%2B4ojjUcwb7zOAzcYgtnrTbBVDT%0ATjEW%0A 6. You can also add other column values to the table, which is useful when transferring lead data from one table to another using the 'Write to Table' column. This setup can work independently, without the list feature configured in step 4. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1198588225/4123b3329808d48a37906f56/CleanShot%2B2024-09-04%2Bat%2B23_00_35.gif?expires=1727708400&signature=987f40e6d2de9732975e034df16eddef061cec01ec6678d8f62028b6e98c9919&req=dSEuHsx2lYNdXPMW1HO4zQdBzsyDoRqQgVQjUS%2FAdTl8V8%2BqGykoxl15Pp8a%0ANBK4%0A You're all set! You can now save and run your 'Write to Table' column.
I’m analyzing the results of a Claygent web scrape using OpenAI. The OpenAI output is one large result. That OpenAI result is a list of segments (each with title, URL, company name, etc). So I want each of those segments (from the single large OpenAI result) added to another table (one row per segment), where each column header is related to part of each segment (header_1=title, header_2=URL, etc)
Hi Jeremy, thanks for following up. I recorded a quick video on how you can target this specific use case. https://www.loom.com/share/b0bbed640ff142689ba0f0a71944c75f?sid=55cf40d6-2fd0-4908-8cfe-cb2e526aa5c1 I hope this was helpful. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!
Great! Thanks!
Are there any pre-made flows where I can supply a linkedin job search URL and get an output of all the jobs? I see the pre-made flow that can accept a sales nav URL and give a list of leads, so I was curious what else you might have like that.
Hey there Jeremy thanks for reaching out jumping in for Bruno. This a great question, unfortunately we do not have a feature similar to Sales nav where an LinkedIn Job Search URL can be given and it generates a list of jobs from LinkedIn. However will definitely let the team know about this to see if it would be possible to add this as a feature in the future. However we do have a template table that you can select from the "New Table" menu that can Find Open Jobs at a company if you provide with the Domain of a company. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1199202194/baa95ea75f9bc700bc571f17/image.png?expires=1727737200&signature=557e90c7f7a8e820c8a1e2b94ddc054877590b83069efb95052590dd8957b4f5&req=dSEuH8t%2Bn4BWXfMW1HO4zRR8M4whmQBKuq2WKPm500UCG4vHWNft31NiLFW3%0AYPW%2F%0A https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1199202233/36a78468a96bb70ec18afb33/image.png?expires=1727737200&signature=0de0ac9de7d1f09096489b7bbdabb21d6044a24b355ee4b8471dff8a738a60ae&req=dSEuH8t%2Bn4NcWvMW1HO4zWv5OMhEV0Ro1MZ4aQde53kprmCrVvdJnl2WmcKt%0AYd8e%0A
