Hey guys, super frustrating -- getting this error almost every time I try to log in. https://www.loom.com/share/ea731af49a6b496998c759d48409e0f0?sid=6c3c1de2-9d11-4dc4-ba32-cf947221274d
There could be a few reasons for login issues. If you're using password login, try logging out completely and using the "forgot password" option to reset your credentials. In some cases, accounts may be temporarily locked due to our security measures that help prevent spam usage of free trial credits. If your account has been locked, our team will review your situation and provide updates soon.If you continue experiencing issues, please let me know and I can help troubleshoot further or provide specific contact information for additional assistance.

Looks like you're still looking for help. We're escalating this over to our support team and someone should be in touch soon. In the meantime, feel free to include any other information that may be helpful in solving your issue!
Mathew, were you still hitting this login error? I saw your later case about formulas (response coming shortly in that thread), so I'm guessing you managed to access. But wanted to check to make sure.
I'm accessing via my second account right now -- was not able to successfully login
To address the "Your session has expired" error, I'd recommend trying... 1. Hard Refresh On Chrome on Mac, that should be β + Shift + R 2. Clear Cache Go to your browser settings, find βPrivacy and Security,β and select βClear Browsing Data.β Make sure to clear the cache only β no need to clear cookies unless you want to. Could you try that, and let me know how it goes?
Hard refresh does not work I will try clearing my cache next time I login
Perfect, keep us posted. Clay isn't meant to switch between accounts, and we're preventing multiple accounts. Instead, what I recommend is to be added as a user on the workspace of your clients. That way, you won't hit that limit.
I have a work & personal account β both are paid. Not sure why that would be an issue
This is actually a system limitation on our end, not anything you're doing wrong. For now, using different browsers for each account is the best workaround to avoid those annoying login issues. Let me know if you keep running into problems.
i am having same issue as well. Only one paid work account
Hey Danny - Sorry for that, have you tried the troubleshooting mentioned earlier?
just tried. It's same thing, keep asking too many times in a day. I am able to login though but after a while same
I did have an account under a diff alia about a month or so ago, not sure whether that is the issue. tried clearing cache and all the works
That's because it's not allowed to have multiple accounts, Danny - you can be a user on multiple accounts, but switching between accounts will always cause issues like this! :) We've had a lot of users trying to abuse, so we had to tighten the restrictions! :)
But I am not switching. My main account is a paid account
I get you have to protect from free trial abuse β but if the account logging in is a paid account, why would it ever make sense to lock it?
The implenetation is wrong. Why would it keep asking to login if I haven't logged into the old one recently
Thanks for the feedback Mathew and Danny. Let me clarify our account security system: You're right - paid accounts shouldn't be getting locked. This is happening because our system detects past account activity, even if you're not actively switching between them now. It's an overly cautious security measure that we have in place. For now, here are your best options: 1. Use different browsers for each account you need to access 2. Request to be added as a user to workspaces you need access to instead of having separate accounts The #2 should fix all your issues here.
So basically two emails in both accounts?
I own both accounts
No more like this: https://docs.clay.com/en/articles/9649991-invite-members-to-your-workspace You invite one email into both accounts :)
When adding users to an account, the subscription is determined by βhost userβ right? And the invited user is free?
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else! Feel free to reply back here if you do.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
