Issues with OpenAI Account Upgrade to Tier 2 Explained

Hey I have added +$50 ($60) to OpenAI account and have waited over 7 days (11 days) and still haven't been upgraded to Tier 2 so still cannot use Claygent. I have reached out to OpenAI support but the only support they provide is an AI chat bot (what a surprise)... which hasn't helped. Why hasn't my OpenAI account automatically upgraded to Tier 2? I've met the criteria. Could you shed some light on this please?

OpenAI tier upgrades aren't automatic - you need to contact OpenAI support directly to upgrade to Tier 2, even after meeting the balance requirements. For Claygent to work, you need Tier 2 or higher with ≥450,000 TPM. You can check your current tier and limits at OpenAI's usage limits page. Since OpenAI's automated support hasn't helped, you'll need to reach out to their human support team through their support contact page to manually request the tier upgrade.

Hey Chris G. , had the same issue when I started. Might just be a case that you have to request for a human operator and wait 1-2 days. Normally someone would automatically push you manually to the next tier. I had this issue when I first started as well
