Using a dedicated Salesforce API integration user to connect Clay <> Salesforce however Clay isn't pulling in several attributes from Leads, Contacts, and Accounts. The dedicated integration user has access to the fields via permission set. I've reconnected, refreshed the connection, etc. but still no luck. Any assistance here is much appreciated
This issue is likely related to the OAuth connection permissions. The Salesforce integration is scoped to the OAuth user who created the connection, meaning Clay can only access fields and objects that this user has permission to access. Even though your dedicated integration user has a permission set, there might be additional permission requirements: 1. Verify the OAuth user has all three required permissions: • Access Identity Information • Manage User Data via APIs • Perform Requests Anytime 2. Check if there are any field-level security settings or object permissions restricting access to those specific attributes. 3. Ensure the permission set is properly activated and assigned to your integration user. If these steps don't resolve the issue, please request human assistance for more specialized troubleshooting.
Hey, just to clarify—are the missing fields from the original import, or are they not showing up in a Salesforce Lookup step? If it’s the import, some fields might not come through right away. In that case, using a Salesforce Lookup column can help pull in any additional attributes you’re missing. Just make sure you’re referencing the correct object type (Lead, Contact, or Account) and that the fields are included in the query. You can also use SOQL lookup Let me know if you have more questions
