Confirming Clay Credits Expiration and Stopping Automatic Recharge

Tanvi R. Hello, I just want to confirm that Clay credits expire every month if I don’t use them? I noticed my Clay account automatically recharges every month, and I don’t want that since I already have a lot of credits. Is there any way to stop the automatic recharge until I manually update my plan?

    Hi Usama, thanks for reaching out. As of now, there's no way to pause and resume your subscription plan based on your credit needs. If you notice that you're consistently using up less than half of the credits you own at baseline workload, I suggest that you consider tuning your plan purchase to match your usage needs. If you haven't already, I suggest that you test this calculator to confirm that you are on the correct usage tier here: https://www.clay.com/credits-calculator If you have a monthly subscription, unused credits will roll over and accumulate in your account up to 2x the credit limit according to your plan. If you buy an annual plan, you get all your credits upfront, and you can use them however and whenever you’d like. You can read more about the Credit Roll Over Update here.
