Hi, any idea why "some" leads are not being added within smartlead? there seems to be not particular reason why some aren't going through (these are all new leads that do not exist in another campaign)... thanks in advance!!
It's probably something on SmartLead's side? I get that error when an email address is on SmartLead's global blacklist.
Hey, thanks for reaching out, sorry for the delay! Taking a look
Sorry again, had a few calls. So this usually happens when this toggle option is turned off... If those leads already existed elsewhere, similar to what William H. mentioned, then it won't add them to another campaign.
Let me know if you toggle it on, if it still causes some issue for you though!
Interesting. The only other issue I've here is either running out of Smartlead email credits or as William said, they could be in a global block.... if it was due to that toggle button, then maybe there were added to a different campaign at some point(?)
Arturo O., your right... I accidentally uploaded one CSV multiple times to the same table... Now I have no idea which CSV it was because i've uploaded dozens of CSVs onto this table... So I'll have to go back through each CSV to find the missing file (by cross referencing the emails in both tables). This could easily be solved if a feature was implemented for us to see the history of our uploads. Image 2 shows, what this looks like in Smartlead. This is feature badly needed. Because of this - I've wasted ~5,158 clay credits on duplicate leads, that won't be used in my campaigns.
Yep, will check if there's something we can apply to check the upload history. Of course, you can still check for duplicates within the same table either by clicking on dedupe for a column or using the Lookup record integration. Also, Smartlead does have a lookup option to check if leads exist in other campaigns. But yeah, that button should solve that for you
Glad you were able to detect them though, Smartlead's current setup doesn't really offer a quick way to catch that unless you click around. We'll have to ask them to return a value in such cases to let you know if the lead exists elsewhere or not, if they did that with the Add lead integration, it would be clear what's happening lol
Arturo O., can you please check this table (step 5): https://app.clay.com/workspaces/73195/tables/t_SBwWI4VrXbd8/views/gv_l8oIgkUqbHF8 Leads are not being added again, but this time, the are no inside Smartlead. and all of the old reason's don't apply. It would certainly be nice if Smartlead returned a way for us to know the reason why a lead can't be added.
As an example... it says that this email: bcaldwell@wingspanreach.com is invalid... I'm confused on how to fix this
Hey Noel M., I've run into a similar situation before but it was not clear what the issue was in this case because there was no apparent empty space in the cell.I decided to pull the emails and clean/trim any empty "hidden" spaces and used that new column as the input... Appears to be working now.Another thing that could be causing issues is the "Allow duplicates" toggle option, if it's off and the lead exists or was used in another campaign then they won't get added to this one unless it's turned on.
