When you schedule auto updates to run daily - will they run daily from the time you turn them on? Meaning if I turned that setting on at 10am will it run daily at 10am? if so, Is there a way to (re)set it to run at a certain time?
When you schedule sources to run daily, you can select the frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly) through the scheduling interface. However, the available documentation doesn't specify whether daily updates run at the exact time you enable them or provide details about setting specific run times. For new sources, after adding a source, select "On a schedule" under "Run this source" and choose "Day" as your frequency. For existing sources, click the source column title, select your source, then choose "On a schedule" and set the frequency to "Day". Do you need to set your daily updates to run at a specific time of day, or are you looking to change when an existing scheduled source runs?
Hey there Kate thanks for reaching out, sorry for the delay here. Currently the way this is set up is that it will rerun on the same time that you set it up to run. For example if you turned on the auto scheduler at 2:30 Pm every day it will rerun at 2:30 PM. At the moment we don't have a way to schedule a specific time although this is something that has been brought up before.
Thank you for the response LuisArturo. If I turn the auto scheduler off and re-turn it on to run at the time I want it to, will that reset the time?
Hey there Kate, that is a great question, in this it would move to this new time, as the current configuration for this feature has it run on a timer beginning, that begins when the "switch" is flipped so to speak
