Facing an issue with pushing the data to google sheets. In Clay, it is showing data is pushed to sheet and it is not getting reflected in sheets. Tried multiple times and even recofigured the google account. Still the same. Table link - https://app.clay.com/workspaces/872931/tables/t_0t6ta8fFcNPHc7faUyn/views/gv_0t5iisnSvtttnDu7Xkn
This is likely a rate limiting issue with Google Sheets. The Google Sheets API has a limit of 300 read requests per minute per project, which can cause temporary blocks even when Clay shows success.
Try waiting a minute and checking your Google Sheet again - the data might appear after the quota resets. If it's still not showing up, double-check that:
- Your Google Sheets URL is correct in the integration
- You've selected the right sheet name if your document has multiple sheets
- Your Clay columns are properly mapped to the Google Sheets columns [1]
Before we dig deeper, have you tried using Sculptor? It's our built-in AI tool in the top-right corner that can help troubleshoot integrations like this. Give it a try and let me know if that helps resolve the issue.
Done everything mentioned here. Triggered only 2 rows in the last one hour. This is working in all our client instances with similar plan except this.
Since you've only triggered 2 rows and it's working on other instances, this sounds like a specific issue with this table. Try these steps:
Force run the column: Click the Google Sheets column header, hover over "Run column" and select "Force" to jump start it
Recreate the column: Delete the Google Sheets column and create a fresh one, then re-map your data
If those don't work, have you tried asking Sculptor about this specific issue? It's in the top-right corner and can help troubleshoot table-specific problems like this. Let me know if Sculptor helps or if you need to dig deeper into this.
Can you dig deeper into this. We've done the above as well.
Since you've tried the standard fixes, let's check a few deeper issues:
Check your Google Sheets permissions - Make sure the Clay account has proper write access to the specific sheet, not just read access. [1]
Verify the sheet name mapping - If your Google Sheets document has multiple sheets, double-check that you've selected the exact correct sheet name in the integration settings.
Try the "Write to another table" troubleshooting approach - Delete the Google Sheets column entirely, create a completely fresh one, and re-map all your data from scratch. This often resolves underlying connection issues.
Check for auto-update conflicts - Make sure table-level auto-update is enabled, as this can prevent integrations from working properly even when they show success. [2]
If none of these work, there might be a specific issue with this table's configuration that needs human troubleshooting. Let me know if you'd like to speak with a human after trying these steps.
Is that what you were looking for?
I’m sorry the issue is still unresolved and understand this is frustrating. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to achieve so I can assist you further?
I'm trying the sculptor once again
Great! Let Sculptor help troubleshoot this Google Sheets issue. Since you've already tried the standard fixes and it's working on other instances, there might be something specific about this table's configuration that Sculptor can identify.
After you try Sculptor, let me know what it suggests or if it helps resolve the data sync issue. If Sculptor doesn't solve it, we can explore connecting you with a human for deeper troubleshooting. [1]
Did that answer your question?
No. Tried everything mentioned by the sculptor as well. This is still unresolved.
