Troubleshooting Chat GPT Rate Limit Issues with Clay Integration

Ā·

Hey Team. I have connected my Chat GPT account to my Clay account and have added credits with the API Key of more than $50. But whenever I am trying to use the AI enrichment, I am always getting the error of the rate limits associated with this Open API Key are insufficient for this field. I would need help on how to fix it

To resolve the rate limit error with your OpenAI API key, you'll need to ensure your API usage tier meets Clay's requirements:ā€¢ For ChatGPT columns: 30,000 TPM (tokens per minute)ā€¢ For Claygent: 450,000 TPMSince you're experiencing rate limit errors, you'll need to upgrade your OpenAI API key to a tier 2 API key. Here's how to check and upgrade:1. Check your current usage limits at: OpenAI API Usage Limits 2. Review your current usage and limits at: ā€¢ Usage ā€¢ Limits 3. For information about different usage tiers, visit: Usage Tiers 4. To upgrade your tier, follow the instructions here: How to Move Up in Usage Tiers

Hi Waqar, thank you for reaching out. Rate limits are not set by Clay, rather they are set by OpenAI.

In order to fix this issue I recommend you get in contact with OpenAI's support. They will be better able to assist you in choosing a plan that allows you to have higher rate limits. Let me know if this helps!
