I have integrated a new openAI key. It keeps running for enrichment (sculpting > molding > synthesizing > polishing > etc....) but not giving the output. Is there a problem in the system?
If your OpenAI key is running but not giving output, check that your dynamic prompt inputs are correctly linked to the right columns. Also, make sure your API key is valid and properly added to your account for the enrichment to run. If you’re still not seeing results, try previewing the enriched cell to see if there are any error messages or missing inputs. [1] [2] [3]
Is that what you were looking for?
It is not giving any error, it just keeps saying "leading progress"
If your OpenAI enrichment is stuck on "leading progress" with no error, it's likely due to rate limits on your OpenAI API key. Free or low-tier keys often have limits that can cause delays or prevent completions. Check your OpenAI API usage and limits at OpenAI API Usage Limits. For reliable performance, you need at least 30,000 TPM for content generation or 450,000 TPM for web research/Claygent. If you're on a lower tier, upgrading your OpenAI API key to a higher tier should resolve the issue.
Did that answer your question?
Sorry, I meant to say "loading progress" btw whatever the errror is, it should simply mention the error cause... but it is not populating any info. How do I know if it's because of API usage limits?
If your enrichment is stuck on "loading progress" with no error or output, it's likely due to OpenAI API rate limits. You can check your API usage and limits by logging into your OpenAI account and visiting the usage and limits pages. If you see a yellow warning or slow performance, your API key may be on a lower tier. Upgrading your OpenAI API key to a higher tier (like tier 2) can resolve this, especially if you need higher tokens per minute (TPM) for your workflow.
Was this helpful?
how would I know if I need higher tokens per minute?
You’ll need higher tokens per minute (TPM) if your OpenAI API key’s current tier doesn’t meet the requirements for your workflow. For example, “Content generation” columns need 30,000 TPM, and Claygent (web research) needs 450,000 TPM. If you’re on a free or low-tier plan, you’ll likely hit rate limits, causing slow or stuck processes. Check your OpenAI usage and limits at OpenAI Usage and Limits. If you see yellow warnings or slow performance, upgrading your API key to a higher tier should help. [1]
Does this clarify things?
If you still need help resolving the loading progress issue or understanding your API usage limits, I’m here to assist. Would you like to provide more details about your workflow or any specific challenges you’re facing?
Hey Hassan. Sorry about this. We’re currently investigating an issue affecting AI columns. These columns may load indefinitely without returning results. Our engineering team is actively working on a fix, and we’ll keep you updated. We also have a status page up here: https://status.clay.com/ Truly sorry for the inconvenience🙏🏽.
Hey there. This issue has been mitigated and the affected AI actions should now process as expected. However, we're still investigating the root cause and monitoring performance.
We’ll share another update as soon as we have more information. Thanks for your patience while we work on this🙏🏽.
We haven't heard back from you here, so we're going to go ahead and close this thread out.
