Troubleshooting Lead Count Issues in Lookup Method

Β·
Β·

Bo (. Hello! I've been using this method https://www.loom.com/share/a39a4569d95244b7886026f3c70812c7?sid=c6b9a548-41ca-4a3a-9b95-c411d3b3ec6a to count the number of leads from one company. It was working fine but now it's acting up. There's no change in the table whatsoever or in the data. Two things are going wrong for me on this:

  1. 1.

Lookup isn't always correct, when I rerun the cells then its corrected

  2. 2.

When the lookup is fine in some instances the formula doesn't give the correct answer. For example: where three records will be found it'll assign a unique ID occurrence of 3 to all of them, or will miss one of the records entirely.

Please help, thanks!

The issue you're experiencing with counting leads from one company could be due to a formula setup problem. The inconsistencies in lookup and incorrect unique ID assignments suggest that the formula might be assuming a response for every row, which isn't always the case. To resolve this, try modifying your formula to include a conditional check. Add logic that only processes the response data if it exists, such as "if {{response}} exists...". This should help ensure the formula runs smoothly and provides accurate results. If you need an alternative method, consider using the "Lookup Multiple Rows" integration. This allows you to scan a column for the company's identifying value (like domain or name) and count matching cells. You can perform these lookups within the same table or on a separate one. Hello Aamir! Thank you for reaching out! I added a new column for the company names that removed the trailing whitespace and force ran the lookup column which resolved the problem with the 3 records. Please let me know if you're still experiencing any issues. Happy to help! :)

As messaged in the thread above, I'm still experiencing this issue which is basically marking different leads with the same number, causing me to miss qualified leads

I've noticed this is only happening when I get 3 records, for 2 records it's fine
