I want to run an enrichment for healthcare companies that looks if the company is HIPAA compliant or not. What is the best approach here? I have used claygents but am getting mixed responses and not accurate results.
For HIPAA compliance enrichment, try these approaches instead of Claygent: Use Perplexity enrichment - Better for research-based queries like compliance status. Search for "Perplexity" in Add enrichment and ask it to research each company's HIPAA compliance status. Try waterfall enrichments - Use multiple data providers in sequence for better coverage and accuracy. Click Add enrichment → search for company enrichments → configure multiple providers to check compliance data. Use HTTP/API integrations - Connect to specialized compliance databases that track HIPAA status. Refine with AI summarization - After getting raw compliance data, use our AI feature (not Claygent) to summarize and standardize the results into clear "compliant/non-compliant" categories. Test with 10 rows first to verify accuracy before scaling.

Try waterfall enrichments - Use multiple data providers in sequence for better coverage and accuracy. Click Add enrichment → search for company enrichments → configure multiple providers to check compliance data..... how? there are multiple company enrichments
Here's how to set up waterfall enrichments for company data: 1. Click "Add enrichment" in your table 2. Search for specific company data points like: • "Funding Stage" • "Industry" • "Employee Count" • "Revenue" 3. Configure your waterfall sequence: • You'll see pre-arranged providers optimized for cost and coverage • Reorder providers if you prefer certain ones for your use case • Toggle off providers you don't want to use 4. Select your input column (usually Company Domain) 5. Test with 10 rows first before scaling For HIPAA compliance specifically, there isn't a pre-built waterfall. You'd need to use individual company enrichment providers or try the Perplexity enrichment approach mentioned earlier, as compliance data isn't typically available through standard firmographic waterfalls.
Hey Sweta, thanks for reaching out! Great question—and you're definitely on the right track.
There are a couple of solid approaches you can try:
Claygent is the most direct option, but it really comes down to how the prompt is structured. If you're getting mixed results, feel free to share your table link and I can take a look to help refine the prompt. One tip: you can specify that Claygent check for HIPAA mentions on the company’s /privacy
or /terms
pages—that tends to improve accuracy.
Another route is using a Google search like:
site:DOMAIN "HIPAA"
This can help surface relevant pages more reliably, and you could then extract that info via Claygent.
Daniel K. Hey! here is the link to the table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/59216/workbooks/wb_0szdf9lfhpY3pyhB5SH/tables/t_0szdfs0BcFUkjovJMFv/views/gv_0szdfs0srzPxWsNVq8R I have used claygent to scrape their privacy policy. Feel free to take a look at it.
Everything looks good on my end. Were you seeing anything off or looking for something specific in the results? Let me know how I can help.
