My credits ran out while doing the waterfall of finding emails. How do I resume? I can’t run those that haven’t run or have errors. And I can’t filter on the “Not enough Clay credits 😢” cell
First, you'll need to purchase additional credits. You can buy credit top-ups directly from your billing modal - new credits are added instantly. Once you have credits, go to your first waterfall column and right-click it. Select "Run All Rows that haven't run or have errors" - this will process only the entries that weren't completed due to the credit shortage. This avoids duplicate runs on already successful searches and resumes exactly where you left off.
That did not work
Check the bottom ones to the far right
Hey there Daniel thanks for reaching out, made a loom going over this for you: https://www.loom.com/share/b148301d9d2c4e0c97b3c1797dd10d07?sid=eb9a10d4-16ee-4393-8ff0-7cd82266219e
Thanks, but I don’t want to rerun 3K rows. Some of them were obviously found above, so it’s def less than 3K that needs to run
Hmmm weird, I remember another number from yesterday. Thought it was way less than 3K left… weird
How do I filter on “No email found” in one of those email finders? Can’t seem to add that text to the filter
I want to filter the rows that did not find an email at all, and then only keep the ones that have rows containing the message regarding credits
Any idea why row 542 finds an email but doesn’t populate it in the last column?
What does this mean? I’m confused tbh
Hey there Daniel, thanks for reaching out, to answer your question about filters, you would select the column called "Work Email" here and set the filter to "is empty".
To clarify why the emil is not generating here, If you were to go and take a look at the validator columns for the waterfall you'll notice that for each email that is found here it is not considered to be valid which is why it is not generating in the final column. Additionally, the reason why the same email is being found over and over again is because in Clay there is no way for the providers to communicate with one another or for us to tell the provider not to find a particular email. So what ends up happening is the providers run and will keep on finding the first email they can find, which in this case is an invalid email. Now what Clay can do is communicate with the email validator and since it's the same validator running every time, we can tell it once an invalid email is found the first time to not run a second time, since we already know it is not valid
OK thanks
So according to your Loom, I need to run circa 3K rows again. But some of these… I guess it will skip? Because it’s ran them before. Or am I slow haha
Run condition not met and Invalid email. Will it need to rerun those too?
When running all rows they having a runner have errors it will not run for the run condition not met since that is part of the conditional formula that it just will never run if there is an invalid email this won't run either because we're only trying to run the ones that haven't run properly yet
Awesome man, thanks so much for your help and everything. Much appreciated
