Hey first time user. I have a table of contacts/companies. Can I exclude them when I make a search
Yes, you can exclude both companies and people from your searches using existing Clay tables:For company searches:You can exclude specific companies by referencing any other Clay table containing a previous company search. This helps prevent duplicates in your results. For people searches:You can exclude specific profiles by selecting a table containing previous people search results. This ensures you won't get duplicate profiles in your new search. Sources: Find Company Overview - Clay University Find People Overview - Clay University
It says This table does not contain a companies search
This error appears because you can only exclude companies from tables that were specifically created using Clay's Find Company Search feature. To exclude companies, you'll need to reference a table that was created through a company search, not just any table containing company data.To create a proper company search table:1. Use the Find Company Search tool 2. Set your desired search parameters (industry, size, location, etc.) 3. Import the results into a new table 4. Then you can use this table to exclude companies in future searches Source: Find Company Overview - Clay University
