how does signal tracking work - should i scrape the accounts first and then track signals on these specific accounts on clay or should i just choose filters on type of companies i want to track and then clay will do it by itself
To set up signal tracking in Clay, you need to start with a table of companies or contacts you want to monitor. This table should include identifiers like LinkedIn URLs or website URLs. The process works like this: 1. Create your table with the accounts you want to track 2. Click "Actions" and select the signal type (new hires, job changes, promotions, or custom signals) 3. Configure your filters to specify what you want to track 4. Set how frequently the signal should run Clay doesn't automatically track signals without a defined list of accounts to monitor.
