There are two methods you can use to format your text with paragraphs: 1. Using a Clay Formula: • Select "formula" for a new column • Use Clay's AI formula feature with this prompt: "Add html formatting '<p> ' before every paragraph and '</p> ' after every paragraph break from this column: /YourColumnName" • Review the output and click "Output is correct" to save 2. Using HTML Tags: Since Smartlead supports both HTML and newlines in custom fields, you can use either: • HTML tags (<p> </p> ) for paragraphs • Line breaks ( ) for new lines • Or simple newlines in your textAfter formatting, make sure to map these formatted columns to your custom fields in your Smartlead campaign setup. Here's what I recommend: Format the entire email as HTML within Clay and then send the HTML-formatted email to Smartlead, rather than plain text. You can use a formula in Clay to format it exactly as you'd like. To help, I've included an example in the images below. And correcting myself slightly, this isn't full HTML as what would be expected on a website, this is simply using 2 line break tags (<br>) tag instead of <p>.
