Issues with Exclude People Option in Clay and Apollo Integration

Problem - Exclude people option not working in the following scenarios:

  1. 1.

    Clay people search - While adding new people, the option available is only to exclude from the table where there is direct source, I can not select my own database

  2. 2.

    Apollo people search - While adding new people, there is no option to exclude from already saved people / lists (in Clay table or within Apollo as well)

Taking help from developers, they said even HTTP API won't exclude within the above cases as there is no option for excluding. How to implement this?

    For Clay people search, you can use the Exclude People section to remove profiles that appear in other Clay tables. Simply select a table containing your previous people search results to avoid duplicate profiles in your current search.However, regarding Apollo people search, there currently isn't a direct option to exclude people from already saved lists. As an alternative workflow, you can:1. First perform your Apollo search 2. Export the results to a new Clay table 3. Use the Exclude People feature in Clay when doing subsequent searches to avoid duplicates Source: Find People Overview - Clay University
