Hi, I had a couple of questions as I’m learning how to use clay.
How can you see how many months a contact lead has been at their company regardless of how many roles they had?
Is there a way to keep track or see when a contact switches/leaves to a different company?
Hi Ben, for the first question you should enrich the person with linkedin and pull this column:
for the second question, you should refresh the table manually as there are no scheduled updates
You can change this to second item,third...
and pull columns with all the past experiences
Sorry, but I’m still having a hard time getting that info. Here is my table, all these employees are current employees still. I tried changing it to second item instead of first, but it doesn’t give me the total time they’ve been at the company for https://app.clay.com/workspaces/223167/tables/t_JhtQ5OPsRmyi/views/gv_4fKQ5YN8EY8D
I recorded a loom video explaining the process, and also did one example in your table: https://www.loom.com/share/b273298e4e104f50916eac4c0adbe9d1
It’s not quite what I need. I’m in interested in knowing for example how long has Ben Kochubey been at the company, he’s been at the company 3 years and 1 month. I don’t particularly care to know how long he’s been in a specific role. Is there a way for clay to tell me that this person for example has been at the company for 3 years and 1 month or would I have to use multiple formulas like first finding the difference between start/end date of the first role (data entry specialist) and a second formula finding the difference between the start/end date of the second role (Senior data entry specialist) and then combine them?
Ben K. recorded a loom for you here: https://www.loom.com/share/c50e99188513452387fab671a72f0003?sid=d605cf8f-39df-424b-89fb-83f3a4ac3069
Thank you! Appreciate the help and quick responses. This was what I was looking for. I’ll use the example you gave as a reference.
