Hi, wanting to only pull people with job titles from specific countries. I'm using both Apollo and Clearbit. When I drop in a list of countries it doesn't work.
Hi Michael, thanks for reaching out! Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1732043700&signature=b674bd1dafb7a319a1f0b72f58e3403e174221f853bcae5564e0a5927e92e1e7&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSn8ApQR2BKsam%2FhVPt61A%3D%3D%0A
one more question too. It seems that I'm only able to export 10 of the leads into the people table. How do I take all leads found by clearbit and apollo?
It's very important to our work to be able to pull all then filter out
Hey, thanks for reaching out Michael, I do see the enrichment worked and found results in certain rows, while others no. Curious why do you say it's not working? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1258180374/5956ec2b5b8210d1dc6641eab49b/CleanShot+2024-11-19+at+_04H7VObGV1%402x.png?expires=1732044600&signature=5a9e40810b937815e2d4abebedfa7143affa0567da59e77525153228d2d04661&req=dSIiHsh2nYJYXfMW1HO4za3U1ivIzQOGpmTBFV%2BVrIGvrOHdnr1ixdYFQIMx%0ASHxl%0A
I didn't run the enrichment apart from the top ten rows.
But have experimented previously and this has never worked for me.
So the other rows look like they worked but that's because they we're run prior to the countries being added.
Also, why is it only pulling ten profiles through to the people table?
Do you see discrepancies between the data you see in Clay and the data you see in Apollo and Clearbit? Would you like to hear more information on this? It's only pulling 10 profiles due to size limitations. If we pull more, the more data we get, it won't be able to show in a row. So, to prevent this, we've limited it to 10.
I don't understand your question. Do you understand my issue?
If the location filtering worked I wouldn't need to pull thirty people. Please look into this and test it. If I haven't got a resolution by tomorrow I'll need to arrange a phone call for tomorrow
The issue isn't discrepancy. It's that I can't just choose profiles based on location for either as it doesn't return results. It's likely a bug.
Hey Michael - Here's a video: https://cln.sh/ghSMD7Gk Also happy to hop on a call without any issues ! You can book a support call with our CX team here- https://calendly.com/d/cmm9-jxj-9kt/clay-support-call
Thx for the video. The locations are every country in Europe so pretty broad. Feel free to run a bunch of rows one at a time. You'll see that none of them return a result. At least some should. None do.
Please test. You will understand when fifty have returned zero results despite it being for all of eu
Clear bit defo doesn't work. Think apollo was similar
I understand your concern about the lack of European company results. To be thorough, I'm asking for specifics since we see the enrichment working for other locations and those without errors on our end. I don't see any issues on the log so on my end there's nothing. What you could do here is: 1. Try running enrichment in smaller batches of 6 countries at a time to see if that yields better results 2. Compare some specific companies directly in Apollo or Clearbit to verify data availability 3. Test if you get different results when targeting individual European countries From there, if you're able to share some specific company examples that should have data then we can investigate and verify why there's discrepency between what our providers have and what you're seeing.
1: I've already done this. The issue of not finding any contacts is purely with Clearbit. I ran 25 rows with a smaller group of countries, but it still didn't find a single contact
2: You can see that Apollo is finding contacts for those same countries
3: No results found.
4: I've run this on the first 25 rows. It's very clear the issue is with Clearbit not pulling in any contacts. Apollo seems to be pulling contacts fine (though it's capped at 10, which is annoying - I want all contacts)
Please send this through as a bug. If you need to jump on a call for further clarification let me know
Please tell me how I can get all contacts through? It's annoying that it's capped at ten
Hello Michael! I see. We will definitely make note of the Clearbit issue. We get the data straight from them, so there is nothing we can do to get more contacts through the Clearbit enrichment with the same search. The limit of 10 contacts is there due to cell size limits relating to performance concerns. To get more contacts, I recommend splitting the job titles used in the search into 2 enrichments. For example, if your current search looks for titles 'CTO, CEO', you can split it into 2 enrichments, one looking for 'CTO' and one looking for 'CEO'.
that's a good shout on the contact export. The main point of this thread was related to Clearbit and locations tho. I believe it's an issue with Clearbit. Can you confirm your course of action to resolve this? Will raise this with Arturo also, as I need this to work.
As an aside, what's the best way of exporting multiple rows to another table? Do I need to create a row for each export (if I'm splitting searches into multiple columns).
The clearbit issue is definitely on their end. The only course of action we really have is letting the team now and hopefully we can get some communication with them to make them aware of the situation. Then, they would have to take action and we can't really control that. I would not recommend waiting on Clearbit to return results for that search. To export the rows to another table after splitting, you can make a separate write to table enrichment for each Apollo find people enrichment. Then, you can write the rows from each Apollo enrichment to the new table. Here is a rough example of what I mean. The difference is that you should save the write to table enrichments instead of not saving like I did: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1259511762/0ac6cdb0a2b3cbb17cb6ef9347d0/CleanShot+2024-11-20+at+12_15_58.gif?expires=1732124700&signature=0571d45f04333644d48d89efaf9afcc32b7b539bb0af54a2eac3c5a8521130b0&req=dSIiH8x%2FnIZZW%2FMW1HO4zVsfx5tISsiqd47mQ0kPRbk%2FXumh2Y2z3WgCPLaV%0A%2Fa7t%0A
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
