Hello all! I have a question and not sure if this is possible.... Clay generated me a great prospect list for companies I am trying to reach. I would now like to upload my personal current list that I am working on and have Clay match these two lists together to delete duplicates so that I am left with all net new prospects. I hope that makes sense. Thank you!
You can import your prospect list directly into Clay and use our deduplication features to ensure you only get new, unique prospects. Here's how:1. Import your existing list through our import feature 2. Use our normalize and deduplicate functionality to clean your data and remove duplicates within your imported list 3. When generating new prospects, Clay will automatically prevent duplicate records by default. This means you'll only get net new prospects that aren't already in your databaseOur system is designed to maintain data quality by preventing duplicate entries, ensuring you work with a clean, consolidated list of prospects. Hey there, thanks for reaching out! Clay can definitely find duplicates in your prospect list! Do you mind sending the table links to both of these lists so I can suggest the best approach here? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1733332500&signature=d9af9f3dead2dba7752e97a55bcdf462fa62745023388720338711dd74c0f447&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSj%2FBZUT2BKsam%2FhVPsdDQ%3D%3D%0A
Hi Tanvi! Sure thing, thank you
Hey Carolyn, here's a quick tutorial I made on how I set this up in your workspace: https://www.loom.com/share/f6ca3901346d421b96db2da2ec51af17?sid=7a722d9e-7c43-4ae7-b50d-40a5a7e4727f Essentially, all you need to do is run the Lookup Single Row in Other Table enrichment to check if any of your prospects match an Account in your Salesforce table. From here, you can filter for the rows with a match and then delete all of these duplicate results from your Prospect table! Let me know if this makes sense and if you have any other questions!
Hi Tanvi! Wow, this was amazing support. Thank you SO much. So cool. I am loving Clay.
My pleasure Carolyn! I know Clay can be intimidating, but keep persisting that's exactly how we all learned. You're off to a great start and we're here to answer any other questions that may come up in your journey! โจ
