My goal is to find companies which have posted on social media whether that be Facebook, Instagram, google etc regarding moving into a new location, getting under new management, opening a new branch to sell them our payment provider, we don’t even need the company name we can get this information after we have found a signal. We would just need for them to be within our industry which is mainly, restaurants, bars, cafes, takeaways. Is there a way we can do this inside of Clay and then get the emails to reach out to with AI personalization?
Clay can help with parts of your workflow, but not directly monitoring social media for business changes. What Clay can do: ** Use Google Maps to find restaurants, bars, cafes, and takeaways by location and industry ** Find business owners and their work emails using waterfall enrichment ** Scrape websites for email addresses and validate them ** Use our "Social Posts" feature to find recent professional posts from specific individuals What's missing: Clay doesn't have a direct way to monitor social media platforms for posts about business changes like new locations or management changes. You'd need to use external tools like Apify or Phantombuster to scrape social media, then bring that data into Clay . Alternative approach: Start with Google Maps to build your restaurant/bar/cafe target list, then use Claygent (our AI researcher) to investigate each business for recent changes or expansion signals .
