I've been having issues using Clay to find people at companies. In my case, Clay is only showing me 3 people, when LinkedIn has 39 members. I don't have any filters set that would filter 39 down to 3. Anyone know why this may happen?
This discrepancy happens because our data providers don't use your active session or cookies to access LinkedIn data in real-time, so they may not see all profiles that are visible when you're logged in. Additionally, "Find People" data is refreshed on a rolling basis with a full update cycle taking 2-3 weeks, so some recent profiles may not be included yet. The "associated member count" you see on LinkedIn includes both current and former employees, plus people who may incorrectly claim association with the company, which can inflate the number compared to what our search returns. Also check if you have any limits set per company in your search settings, as this could restrict results even without visible filters.

There are a few reasons this might happen — privacy settings, data availability, or filters like keywords not being exact enough. If you’re sure the filters are correct, one of the benefits of Clay is you can still go beyond standard sources.
