How to Move Multiple Columns in Clay Table Efficiently

Β·
Β·

Hi there, This might be a silly question, but how can I move multiple columns in Clay to the right or left within the same table? Use case: When I import company data, all the new columns get inserted at the end of the table. I want to select multiple columns and move them to the beginning of the table, starting at column A. I've tried different hotkeys, but nothing works for me - I can only move one column at a time. Any suggestions?

You can easily reorder multiple columns in your table using the Columns menu. Here's how: 1. Click the Columns button at the top of your table 2. In the menu that appears, you'll see a list of all your columns 3. Click and drag the reorder icon next to each column name to move it up or down in the list 4. The columns' positions will update immediately in your tableAlternatively, you can also reorder columns one at a time directly in the table by: 1. Right-clicking a column 2. Moving it left or right as needed Sources: Hide, Re-order, Sort, Filter, Merge Columns Customize your table view | Documentation | Clay University
