hey team did Clay deprecate Write To Table feature?
No, the write to table feature hasn't been deprecated. It's been updated - "Send table data" is our new way to send data between tables, available in the Actions dropdown and when viewing nested data. The legacy "Write to Other Table" columns are still available when you use the "Add Enrichment" button, and will remain until the rollout of the new routing features is complete.
Hey team, I can't find "Write To Table" function anymore it's usually first option in search. Did we sink the function?
Hey there, thanks for reaching out! Our 'Write to Other Table' feature was replaced by the 'Send Table Data' action, which you can find under your table’s 'Actions' menu. It works in a very similar way. You can find more details on how Send Table Data works here: 📘 Send Table Data Guide 🎥 Video walkthrough Let me know if you have more questions
Thanks Owen! How do it work with field mapping? It only lets me select fields from current table but there's no option to map it to target table
Ah totally, these fields are auto-mapped! Instead, when you use this and run the send data action, it will send over a cell of nested data that you can map out into their own columns as needed. This prevents you from having to make sure all of the data you want to send has a corresponding spot in the new table! :) Would recommend checking it! :)
