How to Create Unique Set of Tables in Clay with 100k+ Results

·
·

Hey Clay Team, this question may have been asked before. I am currently using the 'Find Companies' option within Clay. Because the filters I use were fairly broad, they ended up being about 100k+ in terms of total number of results. Currently, I am on the Clay Explorer Plan, so the max I can have per table is only 25,000 rows of results. How can I create 4 x tables of 25k results, but using the same filter, and ensure that the results of each 25k table are not duplicated? Thank you!

Here's how you can split your 100k results into 4 non-duplicating tables of 25k each: 1. Create your first table using your desired filters and set the limit to 25,000 results. 2. For each subsequent table: • Go to "Add Table" > "Find Companies" • Apply the same filters as your first search • Use the "Exclude" section to select your previous table(s) • Set the limit to 25,000 results • This will automatically exclude companies that appeared in your previous searches 3. Repeat this process for your third and fourth tables, making sure to exclude all previous tables each time. This method will ensure you get unique results in each table while maintaining the same search criteria across all four tables. Is there a way I can avoid having to select all the filters again? Would like to be able to use the filters I've selected previously.

You can save your filter selections by using views. Here's how: 1. After setting up your filters for the first time, click "Default View 🔽" 2. Click "Duplicate View" to create a new view with all your current filters 3. You can rename this view by double-clicking on itNow whenever you need to use these filters again, simply select this saved view from the view dropdown menu. This way, you won't have to reselect all your filters each time. Sources: Views Rename, Duplicate, Delete, Edit Description of Table

Hey there Asher thanks for reaching out, currently we do not have the ability to reuse the filter from a previous company search inside of a brand new one. However, this is something that has been brought up to the team and they are currently looking into it, although there is no ETA on this.
