if I want to use a SN LinkedIn URL that includes a filter such as company page followers, would it work?
For our Sales Navigator integration, you need to use a Sales Navigator People Search URL, not a Company Search URL or a filtered LinkedIn URL. The URL should be from a standard Sales Navigator search, without including personal Lead Lists. If you're looking to enrich company data, you can use a company LinkedIn URL or domain in our "Enrich Company" feature. For person data, use a personal LinkedIn URL or Sales Navigator URL in our "Enrich Person" feature.
I am using a Sales Navigator People Search URL, which includes a filter of people who follow our company's LinkedIn page. Would that work?
Hey Noa, thanks for reaching out! ☺️ This should work. Btw, we soon are going to release a free feature to import your own company followers, so stay tuned. In the meantime: To import contacts between Sales Nav and Clay you can follow these steps: 1. Define your search using the desired filters in Sale Nav (don't save this as a list or search, simply set the filters and perform the search) 2. Copy and Paste the URL from this search webpage and head back into Clay 3. Create a table a "Find People" table in Clay and click on "External List" in this Method category 4. Paste this URL to the Sales Nav search from step 2 into the URL box that appears once "External List" is selected 5. Once this link is pasted the blue "Import" button will light up and click this to begin the import process 6. The process of loading contacts can take anywhere from a few minutes upwards of 30+ minutes (we appreciate your patience) 7. After this search has loaded you'll be able to manipulate data from Sale Nav in this table like you would with any data captured natively from Clay External URL: Where you'll paste your Sales Navigator link
Alternatively, you can export lists from Sales Navigator with tools such as "FullEnrich" (unlimited sales nav exports), "Scrupp.com", "Findymail", "Icypeas", "Datagma", "Prospeo" and others, and then upload them to Clay. They all have chrome extentions. Remember to use these tools within LinkedIn's guidelines to avoid any issues with your account. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know! 😊 Have a great one, Daniel
I forgot to mention those here (click on "Add table" and search for "brand mentions":
sadly when I try to do this with this URL it tells me the URL is not valid https://www.linkedin.com/sales/search/people?query=(recentSearchParam%3A(id%3A3602526[…]nType%3AINCLUDED)))))&sessionId=1IZJRz5HRxWQlv3nU5K6Ww%3D%3D
so this is the correct link to use https://www.linkedin.com/sales/search/people?query=(recentSearchParam%3A(id%3A3609263[…]ype%3AINCLUDED)))))&sessionId=UHy5Sy%2BsQmWQ9jnv2nRDIQ%3D%3D the full one with out the shortening of slack the issue as I thought it would be is that You cannot use "Following your company" as part of your search filters, because we do not have access to your Sales Navigator account to see your company. Please reconstruct the search filters without "Following your company" and try again." this is the error I get from clay. When do you think it will be possible to export your company flowers to clay then ?
Hey Noa, thanks for reaching out! Clay cannot access saved searchers due to limitations with Sales Navigator account permissions (When you view the URL, you can probably spot the "recentSearchParam" in there). Sorry about this! As a workaround, if you really require the saved search, you can export lists from Sales Navigator with tools I mentioned above. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know! Have a great one, Daniel
ey Noa, yeah—when I open that link, it just shows a blank search, which means we’re not able to export it. Unfortunately, I don’t have an ETA on when that feature might be available. Sorry about that! Quick pro tip though: if you’re looking to see all the followers of a competitor, you can temporarily switch your employment to that company. That way, you’ll be able to view all their followers in Sales Nav. From there, you can export the list using one of the tools mentioned above—or with this APIFY scraper (we integrate with them): LINK.
When will the free feature to import your own company followers will be available do you have an estimation ??
Hey Noa, I double-checked with my team to confirm—unfortunately, we don’t have plans to support importing Company followers at this time. Apologies for the confusion earlier, that was my mistake. In the meantime, you can try using the tools I mentioned above, like APIFY, PhantomBuster, or one of the available Chrome extensions—they may help achieve a similar outcome. Let me know if you have any questions!
