Formatting Numbers in a Clay Table for Improved Readability

Would love a more friendly way to look at this type of data

use the formula generator and just ask to insert a comma every 3 number places

Got it, looks like that will work. Only annoying part is that this adds another column to an already very crowded table. Would be nice if they offered formatting columns like they do in excel

It shows the output correctly, but when I hit save it doesn't come through correctly

Scratch that, looks like I need to format it as text in order for the commas to be shown. Which is even more annoying because that screws up the sorting/filtering on $ amounts

Thanks for the feedback Gabe L. - we should probably add those commas automatically for numbers, surfacing to the team. For now, i know thats a bit annoying but as a workaround, you can duplicate the column and filter/sort on one, while the other has the formatting,

Thanks Adam. I often find myself exporting clay tables to excel, doing certain things like this that clay doesn't work well for, then re-importing the table into clay. Would be great to only work in clay some day!
