Hello- I wrote a prompt for clay to do a search for people based on a site location of businesses. I am looking for specific titles and their contact information. I think I did it right, however the output will not create new rows it created 1 column with concatenated information. How do I get it so that it creates a new row for the contacts it could find?
Hi Luis - thanks, is there a video on how to do this. Also b/c there are multiple people that could be found in my prompt/request, would sending to a new table also only be new columns?
Thanks Luis - I guess I'm not sure how I can get the data to separate properly into columns - would I need this to be separated into columns then create a new table and select the rows? I'm not sure why its concatenating still.
also would i have to rerun the columns and get charged again for it to be formatted correctly?
Hey there Tammy, the reason why all of the results are being concatenated, is due to the output option being set to "Fields". What you can do here is either select the Add output option which will create additional fields to have data sent out and then give a label to each new output that corresponds to the value that it will contain. Additionally, you can also select the JSON option here and it will return the data in a array.
thanks - would i have to rerun the rows and get charged again for it to be formatted correctly?
I was able to get them into columns, if there were 5 people that were found, would i need to create 5 first name columns along w/ all the associated fields?
i just noticed as well there is a person found - when i went to look him up- i found him on LI and then looked him up on ZI i got his email - am i doing something wrong w/ my prompt?
I'm not sure what to expect- so these are site locations of maybe parent companies - and i need these exact locations - which is why i leveraged claygent - if you have a solution for this - this would be huge -
I'm looking to see if we can just get those titles and phone numbers from the people found
This is great thanks Luis- is there any way I can incorporate the website but also have clay run it to look for people based on the location I already have uploaded into the tab? Would I use claygent for that?
For instance in the workbook- I ran it per your suggestion, however I'm seeing a ton of people come up for clean harbor - i'm only interested in the ones located on my original list upload which is w/in Massachusetts - this would be applicable across all the listed entities on there - not sure if that makes sense?
Hi Amit- I originally started w/ just the companies and the location. The goal was always to find specific set of people that are from those companies in those locations, I would be looking for various people from 1 row. Luis suggested I get the website for each of the companies then do a people look up. I was able to get the websites, however when I use the look for people functionality it creates a new table and I cannot limit the people based on location by row since it is in a previous table. My original table looked for these people using claygent - do you have a suggestion for doing a look up for a set of people in one location where it will break out each of those people in rows?
I'm not sure I follow, I was told in order to find people I was told I needed to get website- can you please send me a loom video?
