Need Help Initiating Company Table in Clay Workspace

To initiate a table for people based on your company table in Clay, follow these steps: 1. Go to the "Actions" button in the top-right corner of your screen. 2. Select "Find People at These Companies" from the dropdown menu. 3. In the Find People modal, ensure your company table is selected under "Table Reference". 4. Choose either the company's LinkedIn URL or domain as the "Company Identifier". 5. Set your search parameters for the type of people you're looking for. 6. Click "Preview People" to see the results. 7. If satisfied, click "Import" and then "Save to new table". This process will create a new table with people data linked to your company table, allowing you to leverage company information for your contacts. If you need further assistance, you can request human help by clicking on "Talk to a person".

In the menu that appears, you can specify more detailed criteria for the type of person you're looking for by adjusting the parameters. Also, make sure to select the correct table under "Companies" and choose either the company's LinkedIn URL or domain under "Column." Then, click "Preview People." If you're satisfied with the results, click "Import" and then "Save to new table."

Please note that I recommend setting a number under "Limit" to restrict the search results, especially if you want to avoid retrieving too many contacts. Let me know if this helps!

Stefano Hi, not sure if you checked out the link to the table but I maxed out an apify actor at 20 runs finding companies which then flowed to a people table in the same workbook. I duplicated the company table with apify actor and what I'm asking here is how do i initiate the duplicated people table to start? I only created the second set of tables because the apify actor will not continue running on the company page. Hey, I’m not seeing the Apify actor directly inside the table you shared. Based on what you described, it sounds like you’re trying to trigger a Find People search from your duplicated company table. The usual way would be to click Action → Find People at These Companies. Or, since I see you’re using Claygent, you could also use “Write to Other Table” to send the data into the new People table you want to populate. Let me know if you want help walking through it step-by-step!
