Hi, I'm trying to create a ZAP, trying to send a new lead inside of our CRM (LeadConnector) to a Clay table. I've connected the account using Clay API and it shows it's properly connected to my account with the proper Workspace. However, when I go to the 'Configure' tab, it shows me this error message. I am the Workspace owner of the Clay account, so it shouldn't be a permission issue. Can you help me resolve this issue please?
The "invalid credentials" error in Zapier typically means your Clay API key needs to be reconfigured. Here's how to fix it: 1. Get your Clay API key: Go to Settings > Connections in Clay and search for "Clay" to find your API key 2. Update the connection: Copy your API key and add it to your integration account in the Connections section 3. Test the connection: After saving, use the "Test Connection" feature to verify your credentials are working properly Even though you're the workspace owner, the API key connection may need to be refreshed or properly linked for Zapier to access it correctly.
I've refreshed my Clay API, reconnected that account inside of Zapier (the ZAP), but still running into the same error.
I've seen this before with Hubspot. You probably just need to find the ID of your workspace for LeadConnector and then you have to get out of this view in Zapier so you can enter it in manually - but to do that you have to get out of this view and shift to the other mode (I think there's an option for that just to the right of what you captured in your screenshot) - then you plug in your ID, and it may work from there
Okay, I'll give that a try. Thank you for the advice.
Thanks for helping out, Riley! Let us know if that does the trick or if you have any other questions.
