Hey Team, Normally when we refresh this, it usually works. Now It's not working. which is weird coz some tables are fine.
The error "Project does not have access to model gpt-4o" means your OpenAI API key doesn't have the right permissions or tier level for that model.
First, check if your API key is correct at https://platform.openai.com/api-keys and update it in Clay if needed.
The red warning triangle suggests your account has low limits. For ChatGPT columns, you need at least 30,000 TPM (tokens per minute), and if you're using Claygent, you need Tier 2 or higher with 450,000 TPM. [1]
You can check your current tier and limits at https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/limits. If you're on Tier 1 or free tier, you'll need to upgrade to access GPT-4o models.
Did that answer your question?
If you still need help resolving the access issue with the GPT-4o model, I’m here to assist. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to achieve or any other errors you’re encountering?
But why is my other tables are working?
Different tables can have different API key configurations. Your working tables might be using:
Clay's managed account instead of your personal OpenAI key
A different OpenAI API key that has proper tier access
Different AI models that don't require GPT-4o access
Check the "Account" dropdown in your working tables - if they show "Clay" instead of "backupkey", that's why they work. You can switch this problematic table to use Clay's managed account or upgrade your OpenAI API tier to resolve the access issue. [1]
Did that answer your question?
they have the same api key and and both GPT -4.o everything is the same . the only difference is the name of the table
This is likely a temporary API rate limiting issue with your OpenAI account. Even with identical settings, OpenAI can throttle requests differently across tables based on current usage patterns.
Try switching the problematic table to use Clay's managed account temporarily - change the "Account" dropdown from "backupkey" to "Clay" to see if that resolves it.
If you want to keep using your own API key, the issue should resolve itself as OpenAI's rate limiting adjusts, or you can upgrade to a higher tier for more consistent performance. [1]
