Troubleshooting Row Transfer Issues from Clay to Instantly
Hi - I am trying to send rows from clay into instantly but i am getting error on every row
If you're encountering errors when sending rows from Clay to Instantly, check these key points: 1. Make sure you've properly set up the Instantly enrichment in your Clay table. 2. Verify that you're using the correct column names in your mapping: • For email fields, use the "validated work email" column instead of a generic "email" column • Double-check that all required fields (like first name, last name) are correctly mapped 3. Ensure you've included all necessary minimum fields: • Email address is mandatory • Any custom variables (like subject line and email body) should correspond to existing columns in your Clay tableAfter making these corrections, run the enrichment again and check your Instantly campaign page to verify the data has been properly transferred. We had a few similar reports, and from what we understand from the Instantly team: - The had a small blip on their side where they incorrectly returned "internal error" even though the leads should have been added correctly/ - You should check in Instantly to confirm if the leads ended up in the campaigns in the end. If not, retry the action in Clay. - Retries are safe – if the lead already exists in the Instantly campaign, it should return a "Failed to add lead to campaign" response with an appropriate error.
