On this account, I can’t understand how to treat this output? https://app.clay.com/workspaces/228622/tables/t_joDHgkERftwD/views/gv_BxA6dDNX9hC7 How can I turn this into a Clay format table from a JSON file?
You can import your JSON file into Clay by following these simple steps:1. Open the table where you want to import your JSON data 2. Click Actions > Import > Import Companies From a CSV 3. Upload your JSON file by either uploading it or dragging and dropping it into the import area 4. Choose whether to: • Add to current table: Select specific columns to add • Create a new table: Import all data into a fresh table Source: Import a File

Looks like you're still looking for help. We're escalating this over to our support team and someone should be in touch soon. In the meantime, feel free to include any other information that may be helpful in solving your issue!
Hi Theo, thank you for reaching out. Could you please be more spcific as to what the problem is? Are you trying to parse out the contents of a column in JSON into different columns and then download the table? Let me know and I will help!
Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1732642200&signature=f6e10851ec8ca7cbba4c2f9ea9c13ac8d5423777b42fe04e0d34ca4bc6d681eb&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSn6ApUU2BKsam%2FhVPuJcA%3D%3D%0A

I see it now, sorry. Is the answer you are trying to parse the "Primary Law Practice"?
no the output of the law practice is Jason. Also there is a problem as some outputs on that column are also JSON but I think that’s a bug.
Hi Theo, I'm a bit confused. Are you asking to map the output of a column in JSON format into separate columns? If so, could you clarify which row you'd like to return as a non-JSON object, just as a plain response? This isn't a bug—Claygent often returns results in JSON format, especially for more complex tasks, but parsing it is free! Let me know if that helps clarify things.
There is 2 issues.
I want to learn how to pass the output of column “Law Firm Partners Response” from a JSON format into a Clay table.
The primary law practice column for some columns has returned JSON format while for other has returned text format, how can I fix that?
Hi Theo, To parse a column with multiple outputs, you can follow these steps: 1. Go to your Claygent column and click on the "Define Outputs" field. 2. In this section, you'll specify how you want Claygent to split the output. For instance, you can click on "+Add Output" and enter "URL" if you want Claygent to return the URL. This will work best if you're very clear in your prompt about which fields you want Claygent to return. The below image shows you where you should be adding and naming these fields: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1266962567/2ef545220f9a4ed6d1e1cbf7c091/CleanShot+2024-11-26+at+16_51_10%402x.png?expires=1732660200&signature=32166ff5277c476bce18b263eec3ccc068f389758de1c8d27d0b91d460713721&req=dSIhEMB4n4RZXvMW1HO4zYfGUICrttB336U7kJQ3xYoT5fAht0wjpAerKcWL%0ALJrd%0A For example, you could add a "citation" output which should just return the citation it found as a link. After modifying and running this new Claygent column with the desired fields, double click on any of the cells that have that enrichment. Then, a pop up menu will appear to your right, as shown below. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1266961383/1dddc02d14846faf74851b15b439/CleanShot+2024-11-26+at+16_49_35%402x.png?expires=1732660200&signature=2b466af666b064853dc1476109dcae30678873bdc03dbb8a2602c465d48f8bd7&req=dSIhEMB4nIJXWvMW1HO4zcZKJR7XgaH3aSOzXmJr6HVny1pR4Hy9rSb%2FRXsy%0AwmBx%0A The menu should now display the information you requested, but organized into separate columns, just as you specified earlier. In this menu, select the columns you would then like to add to your table by hovering over them in the menu, then selecting "Add column"> "Create Column". https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1266962010/e5718f77ed78eb13ecf4c7bd9f40/CleanShot+2024-11-26+at+16_49_40%402x.png?expires=1732660200&signature=b5d1e3f6b27157d91f6af98d477ddf695d51a4853b207c33f8763cbc897df237&req=dSIhEMB4n4FeWfMW1HO4zfMNKg%2F%2FMxHFEvoQCl4RSwwowDwYRfDRbNAci4Li%0ASMWK%0A This should allow you to have Claygent create its output in a format that is then easy to export into different columns on the table. Let me know if this helps.
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else! Feel free to reply back here if you do.

That would be with a formula, but I do see you already have one set up. Is this recent?
