Hi, is there a way to find prospects (with different titles) from a list of companies at scale? EG - I have a list of 3 companies domains + LI profiles. I'd like to run an automated search for "Heads of X" in company 1, "Heads of Y" in company 2 and "Heads of Z" in company 3. Is there a way to automate these searches? Currently, when selecting what titles to search for, there doesn't seem to be an option to /insert row - I have to type the specific job titles in for each search. Appreciate any help/advice š
You can use the Apollo.io integration in Clay to automate searches for different job titles across multiple companies. Here's how:1. Use the "Find People at Company By Job Title" action 2. In the setup, you can input: ā¢ A comma-separated list of job titles (e.g., "Head of Marketing, Head of Sales, Head of Operations") ā¢ A comma-separated list of company domains (e.g., "company1.com, company2.com, company3.com") ā¢ Optional: Set a limit for the number of results (up to 10) ā¢ Optional: Add location filtersThis will allow you to search for multiple titles across different companies in one go, without having to create separate searches for each combination. assuming you have a company table with domain and linkedin
add a column to categorise companies into A, B, C
setup three apollo find contacts column - one will have Heads of X which is relevant for A company, one will have Heads of Y which is relevant for B company
add a run condition for the apollo column such that the column specific to A company will only run for it
Here's how to set up your targeted Apollo searches with conditional runs:1. First, set up your Apollo "Find People at Company By Job Title" columns: ā¢ Create separate columns for each job title group (Heads of X, Heads of Y, Heads of Z) ā¢ For each column, input the specific job titles you want to search for in the "Job Titles" field ā¢ Add the company domains in the "Company Domains" field 2. To add conditional runs for each Apollo column: ā¢ Click on "Run Settings" then "Conditional Run" ā¢ Create a formula that checks your company category column ā¢ For example, the "Heads of X" column should only run when category = "A"This setup ensures each Apollo search column will only run for its designated company category, making your search process more efficient and targeted. there's a way to do this with clay search too if you don't have apollo but that setup will most likely require three separate people tables linked to the company table (thinking out loud)
Here's how you can set up Clay Search to find prospects with different titles across multiple companies:1. Create a companies table with your target companies and their domains/social URLs. 2. Set up multiple people tables linked to your companies table (one for each title group): ā¢ Use "Find People Search" for each table ā¢ Define specific job title criteria for each search ā¢ Link to your companies table as the source ā¢ Set appropriate record limits per companyThe tables will automatically link since they're in the same workbook. Each people table will contain prospects matching different title criteria, and you can use the "Lookup Single Row in Other Table" feature to pull relevant company data into your people tables. For best results, use company social URLs rather than domains in your searches, as they typically yield more accurate and comprehensive data.
