I have set my People Search Find to run Manually, but for some reason my People table gets updated even though the People Search Cell hasn't run . This is wasting my credits on companies which I wouldn't have chosen for People Search. Can someone help me understand where this automation is happening

is it possible to get some credits refunded because i lost too many with this auto update feature which i hadn't set up
I don't mind the automations within the table to run automatically, i just dont want the link between the company table and people table to run automatically
Can I just turn off Auto update on the Company Table Data column inside the People Table. Will that work ?
Hi Mirvise, How many credits were used? For your situation, if you want to prevent this from happening, you can click on Edit on the People Search column. From there, you'll see a menu option called "Setup Inputs, Enable Automatic People Search Update." Just turn this option off and everything will work correctly. Also, FYI, the Find People Search formula isn't working because it is calculating based on the entire table. If you want to prevent rows from running per company, you can go inside the enrichment panel, select "Find People at These Companies" from Clay, and then enable the formula. This enrichment, as an individual column in the table, will give you that kind of control.

Let me look into this now. i think the number of credits was around 3K, because i added 700 rows and it automatically ran the people column
i already have auto-update turned off
so i have to turn off enable automatic people search updates as well? ok, i will do that, but its a bit confusing because Auto update says "Disable or enable automatic runs of this column on table udpdates"
Hey, I went ahead and added the credits back. From what I can see, everything is turned off now—but at the time of the update, the “Enable People Search Updates” setting was still active, which is why it continued running. Now that it’s disabled, it shouldn’t run anymore. Let me know if you see anything else!
