Hi Clay Support, I have a table with person locations and noticed the following issues:

1.
In the person state and city fields, I’m seeing country names instead. Do you know what would be the best approach for this? For example, is there a way to leave these blank, use a different enrichment, or apply a formula to fix it?
2.
Some characters are appearing incorrectly, for example “Cap-PelÃ©”. Is there a way to correct this encoding issue?

To address country names appearing in the state and city fields, use the Mapbox "Normalize Location" action. This will standardize and enrich your location data, ensuring each field (city, state, country) is correctly populated based on the full address or location description you provide [1].
For encoding issues like “Cap-PelÃ©,” ensure your CSV files are saved and uploaded in UTF-8 encoding. If problems persist, try uploading your data to a Google Sheet, downloading it as a CSV, and re-uploading to Clay. This often resolves character encoding issues .
