Hi, I accidentally ran the wrong CSV table and used up all my clay credits. Is there a way to correct this? The csv I uploaded had over 900 rows and it ran through all of my credits. π π¬ Here is the link to the table https://app.clay.com/workspaces/14654/tables/t_QuHeyxNGWt2k/views/gv_7z4929DkGQNb
Unfortunately, once credits have been used, they cannot be reversed. However, here are some best practices to prevent this from happening in the future: 1. When importing new CSV files: β’ Do NOT auto-add enrichments during import, as this is the fastest way to accidentally use up your credits. 2. Before running enrichments: β’ Test with a small sample of about 10 rows first β’ This helps identify and fix any potential errors before running the full dataset 3. To prevent future unintended credit usage: β’ Turn off auto-update at the top of your table by clicking the three-dot icon next to the table name β’ This prevents automatic enrichments from running on new data
Hey there, thanks for reaching out! βΊοΈ I went ahead and refunded 6.570 credits. To prevent wasting Clay credits again, please consider the following strategies: 1. Turn Off Auto-Update: Disable auto-update while setting up your table to avoid unnecessary credit usage. You can do this by clicking the three dots next to your table name and selecting "Auto-Update Columns" to toggle it off. Once your setup is finalized, you can turn it back on , . 2. Qualify Leads Before Enriching: Enrich only the most relevant leads by filtering rows based on criteria like location or industry. Use Conditional Runs to set up rules for when enrichments should occur . 3. Test Enrichments on a Small Sample: Before running an enrichment on an entire column, test it on a small sample to ensure everything works as expected . 4. Use Your Own API Keys: Integrate your own API keys from other providers to reduce the credits spent in Clay . 5. Avoid Duplicate Enrichments: Use Lookup Columns to pull existing data into your current table to avoid spending credits twice for the same data . For more details, you can refer to the Clay Credits Calculator and the Ways to Save Clay Credits guide If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know! π Have a great Tuesday, Daniel
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it :)
