Issue with Lookalike Search Using Excessive Credits Explained

Β·
Β·

I just upgraded my plan to $500 for 14k credits and I used look alike to find 500 companies first it costed me exactly 500 credits. Then again when I tried to search for another 500 lookalikes companies it used up all my 13k balance credits

When using the Ocean.io integration to find lookalike companies, you are charged 1 credit PER result returned for each row. This means that if you're searching for lookalikes based on multiple source companies at once (multiple rows), the credit cost multiplies accordingly. For example: ** If you search for 500 lookalikes from 1 source company = 500 credits ** If you search for 500 lookalikes from 26 source companies = 13,000 credits (500 results Γ— 26 source companies)To avoid unexpected credit usage, make sure to: 1. Use a smaller number of source companies 2. Reduce the number of results per search 3. Run lookalike searches sequentially rather than all at once Sources: Find Lookalike Companies with Ocean.io with Ocean.io Find Lookalike Companies with Ocean.io with Ocean.io
