Understanding Lists for Creating a Master Table of Contacts

I want to create a 'Master Table of Contacts', so I am using 'write to other table' enrichment. however, i do not understand what a list is for my use case? Can you please give me an example or two of what a valid list is?

number 3 was helpful and answered my question. new question: how to I write people to a master table without having the grey ticker showing that the cell was overwritten? like at the end of this loom video at 4:14 https://www.loom.com/share/1ae0bfb385094e9d98a8e22f7ed99c40 will the deduplicate feature still work on my master table with overwritten cells?

Hi! Let me explain the grey ticker and how to avoid it. The grey ticker appears when you're overwriting data that has column dependencies (like in the video where columns depend on Google Maps data). To prevent this: 1. Use text columns without dependencies as your target columns 2. Write data into these clean columns And yes - don't worry, deduplication will still work perfectly on your master table regardless of overwritten cells. To set a new text column you can go on the far right of the table and create a new > text column
