Do Paid Credits Expire After 12 Months of Purchase?

Do we lose access to our paid credits if not used within the 12 months from when i purchased? Thx

    Hi Avine, thanks for reaching out. If you have a monthly subscription, unused credits will roll over and accumulate in your account up to 2x the credit limit according to your plan. If you buy an annual plan, you get all your credits upfront, and you can use them however and whenever you’d like. You can read more about the Credit Roll Over Update here.     Bruno R. Hey Bruno...yeah, I purchased an annual plan. So, what you're saying is I receive my credits and I can use them however and whenever I'd like...so, it it takes me 4 years to expire them (as an example), then I can continue to have access to them without losing them. So, there's no expiration. Correct?

    For the duration of your current plan, you’ll maintain its limits. Once you switch plans (for example, at the end of the year), the new plan’s limits will apply. 😊 Thanks for asking! Let me know if you need any further clarification! πŸ‘

    Bo (. I don't understand...I'm not looking to switch plans at the end of the year. I have FAR too many credits as is.

    Bo (. I simply want to keep what I have, not have to purchase more and use them as I need to use them. I purchased about 1.8 million...I have like 1.5 million still...I don't want to purchase more on Dec 29th when my account is annual date. I want to continue to be able to use credits.

    Hey Adam, thanks for the follow up! To answer the initial question, yes, the credits do expire after the 12 months end as it behaves similarly to monthly plans with the caveat monthly plans have roll over. However, I recall we agreed that we were able to extend remaining credits out for you up until February, so I'm respecting this and it's a note I left in your account internally so anyone in the team is aware (including this ticket which we log and track). Curious, have you not encountered ways to increase usage and get the most out of Clay– is there anything we could help with to ensure you're seeing the value?

    Cool, no worries, I submitted a cancellation request so you're not billed until you manually activate again when it's time. Last check up we mentioned you had ~1.5 million credits, correct? Yeah, we can keep them in there until the end of February but would also be happy to loop in someone to find ways to use them if you're open to chat with the team so you get the most out of them. Let me know!

    Great question! So yeah, since that's the active plan/package, you're correct that if any changes would happen that specific plan would be grandfathered. Yep! I would have to ask to have the payment scheduled until February instead of the current due date shown in the billing platform. Let me know if so!

    Thanks for confirming that's what you're looking for, Adam! I've submitted the request to get it pushed back. It may only show the date in the Billing platform, not in Clay, but I'll share with you a screenshot once I get a confirmation that this could be or was done.
