Need Help Finding Titles for Company Purchase

Β·
Β·

Hey everyone, I'm really looking into purchasing, the only roadblock I've found so far is the fact that I can't find some titles within the company list, is not that they don't exist (when I go to ZI, SalesNav or Apollo I can see them there). Anyone able to help?

The Find Companies feature in Clay might not show all titles available on other platforms due to a few reasons: 1. Clay's initial company search focuses on basic company information. 2. Some data points, like specific titles, may require additional enrichment after building your initial list. 3. You might need to use provider waterfalls or AI web scrapers in the table to source more detailed information. To find more specific titles, you can: 1. Import companies first using the Find Companies modal. 2. Then, enrich your data using integrations or AI scrapers. 3. Use the "Lookup Multiple Rows in other Table" feature to search for people with specific titles. If you need more help with this process, please ask for human assistance by clicking on "Talk to a person".

To find people with specific titles in Clay, you can use the Find People Search tool. Here's how: 1. Go to your workspace and select "Create new" β†’ "Table" β†’ "Find people". 2. In the search interface, use the Job Titles filter to specify the titles you need. 3. Our improved search now auto-queries similar job titles, so you don't need to list every variation. 4. If you want an exact match, toggle the "Exact Keyword Match" option. 5. You can also search by job function (e.g., "marketing", "engineering") to find people in specific departments. 6. Use additional filters like company, location, or experience to refine your search. 7. Preview the results and adjust as needed before importing. If you're still having trouble finding the specific titles you need, you might want to try broadening your search criteria or using related terms.

I do all of that already but for some reason it only finds like 3 people within 100 companies

There could be a few reasons why you're finding only a few people with specific titles: 1. Limited data: Our database might not have extensive information for all companies or titles. 2. Narrow search criteria: Very specific or uncommon job titles may yield fewer results. 3. Company size: Smaller companies might have fewer people with specialized titles. To improve your search: 1. Use our improved job title search, which auto-queries similar titles. 2. Try searching by job function (e.g., "marketing") instead of specific titles. 3. Adjust your filters, such as broadening location or experience criteria. 4. Check your "Limit Results" settings to ensure you're not restricting the number of results. If you're still having trouble, you may want to request human assistance by clicking on "Talk to a person" for more personalized help.

Hey Ralph - apologies for the delay here. Can you give me an idea of what titles you're looking for? Looking at your table, I think your next best bet is to "Find People" under actions in the top right, but I could be misunderstanding. Let me know!
