Unable to duplicate workbook template.
Workbook duplication isn't available yet. We're currently working on adding the ability to duplicate workbooks where relationships across tables will be preserved. [1]
For now, you can copy individual table templates from workbooks using the shared links, but you'll need to recreate the workbook structure manually.
Did that answer your question?
If you still need help with duplicating your workbook or have any other questions, I’m here to assist. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to achieve so I can support you further?
it used to work until yesterday
I understand this is frustrating since it worked before. Workbook duplication has never been fully available - our documentation confirms we're still working on adding this feature where relationships across tables will be preserved. [1]
If something changed yesterday that's affecting your workflow, could you share more details about what specific error you're seeing or what happens when you try to duplicate? This will help me understand if there's a bug we need to investigate.
It's the option where it says "Create workbook using template"
Ah, I see what you mean now! The "Create workbook using template" feature is working - this lets you create a new workbook from shared workbook templates. [1]
When you click "Share as Template" on a workbook, it creates a shareable link that others can use to copy the workbook structure to their workspace. [2] This is different from duplicating your own workbooks within your workspace.
Are you trying to use someone else's shared workbook template, or create a template from your own workbook? That might help clarify what specific issue you're running into.
First, try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page - this often resolves persistent error messages.
If that doesn't work, check your workspace role. If you're a Viewer, you can't create workbooks at the workspace level - only Admins and Editors can. [1]
Before we dig deeper, try using Sculptor (the AI tool in the top-right corner) to help troubleshoot this. It's free and can often identify what's causing the error. Let me know if Sculptor helps or if you're still seeing the issue after clearing your cache.
