Hi all - apologies if this has been asked a bunch of times! I am struggling to get enough people from companies. If I just search for people without any filters I am getting a bunch but the moment I include job titles the number drops to 5. I am looking into Regulatory Affairs Managers/Specialists, RAQAs and that number in most cases isn't really big but 5 is way too low ( companies list is quite extensive). I keep having this problem with different lists and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

When you add specific job titles like "Regulatory Affairs Managers/Specialists" or "RAQAs, " your search becomes too restrictive, resulting in fewer results. Try these approaches: 1. Broaden your job title keywords by using variations and related terms (e.g., "Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Specialist, Compliance, Quality Assurance"). 2. Check your per-company limit settings, as they might be restricting the number of results. 3. Include alternative spellings and abbreviations of the titles you're searching for. 4. Consider using the Apollo.io integration which allows searching by job titles across multiple company domains.

Include multiple variations of the title (e.g., "Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Specialist, Compliance, Quality Assurance" instead of just "Regulatory Affairs Manager"). 2. Use comprehensive search terms with different permutations since Clay doesn't have semantic search capabilities yet. 3. Start with broader terms, then narrow down using other filters like location or job type if needed.

I did try all that already and I'm not getting more people, only a couple more. With Apollo integration - how do I export only that column to show data in a CSV?

To export only the job title column from Apollo integration results: 1. Create a dedicated "CSV Export View" by duplicating your current view 2. Hide all columns except the job title column from Apollo 3. Click Actions > Export > Download CSV This will create a clean CSV with only the job title data you need.

Hi Sara, Sorry you had trouble here! I saw you tried using the more generic search terms/titles already. I'm also noticing you're using the Apollo specific search integration. Would trying the native Clay search work for you? The native search will provide basic enrichments for free (like company name, description, location, and LinkedIn URL), and sometimes responds better to filtering. The search functionality is benchmarked against LinkedIn for accuracy. Let me know if this helps and how else I can help troubleshoot here. Gabe

Hey, No worries—and totally get the frustration. When you include job titles, it’s common to see the number of results drop since the filters narrow the pool. If you’re using the Apollo integration and want to export just that column into a CSV: ** Click the Action menu (top right) ** Select Download Table as CSV ** Then just keep the columns you need when opening it in Excel or Sheets If you’re missing people with both Clay and Apollo, I’d recommend using Claygent to fill the gaps. It uses AI to search online and can return contacts that standard enrichments miss. Here’s a short video showing how to do that: https://cln.sh/pHgLKqxZ Quick steps: 1. Run a Lookup in your people table to spot missing values 2. Click Add Enrichment > Claygent (GPT-4o) 3. Use a prompt like: “Find me the {roles} at {company} who are currently working there. I need their LinkedIn URL, full name, and job title. Get as many as possible. Leave empty if none found.” 4. Choose JSON output, and set it to only run if the lookup is empty 5. Use *Write to Other Table to send the results to your people table Let me know if you want help setting any of this up.

Hi - I am trying (again) to get a better list of people by company. I created a custom table and only included one company. Used Apollo for finding people and even though i included multiple job titles and didn't use the limit or location or any other filters, this is all I am getting. I also don't see how to expand that list of 3 people. I feel like the solution is simple but I can't seem to figure it out 😄
