I totally get the frustration with title matching! Looking at your table, it seems like your AI prompts might need some refinement.
For better AI matching accuracy, try these approaches:
Prompt specificity: Instead of generic matching, create detailed prompts that define exactly what constitutes a match. For example, specify that "VP of Revenue Cycle" should match variations like "Vice President Revenue Operations" or "VP Revenue Cycle Management." [1]
Add validation logic: Set up completeness thresholds to catch when AI returns generic responses rather than actual matches. This helps spot systematic prompt issues.
Use multiple data points: Rather than relying on title alone, incorporate department, company size, or seniority level to create more comprehensive matching. [2]
What specific criteria are you trying to match against? Are you looking for exact role matches, seniority levels, or functional areas?

Hi Garrett, thanks for reaching out! I think there may have been changes to the table since you last reached out, but I would recommend maybe phrasing the formula something like this. Do you recall what kind of prompt you used for the Title Match columns?
still not working 100% which is so strange!
no, hold on im gonna filter it for ya!
but to my earlier point i think the formula filtering just doesnt work properly lol
photo 1 - filter to quick title check true - how can all of these be true lol,

Unfortunately, AI can be prone to hallucinating, so if you're doing a deterministic action, I would recommend doing formulas.
