Using Your Own API Key for LinkedIn Enrichment in Clay: Limited to Generating Enrich Data with Prompts

Is there any ways to use our own API key on clay in the first Linkedin enrichment? It looks like I only can use my own API key for generating enrich data with prompts.

    Hey there Martin, personal API keys can't be used on LinkedIn enrichments.

    I think it's really expensive to pay like 250 for only 3000 linkedin enrichments. Even though I already have the linkedin URL in my imported lead list.

    So, some tools will have the option to add your own API key to them, depending on the provider but for those LI integrations, those don't and can't use your active session or cookies to enrich. It's with the help of data providers/aggregators that we can ensure the information found can be returned and be usable in tables.

    The advantage is that your LI account is not at risk but the tradeoff is that, just like with any other data provider, we depend on what they offer and sometimes they can miss some information (no perfect data provider for now). Of course, you don't need to enrich the companies unless you need a specific data point that's only offered with such enrichment. There are several options out there to get around that and to conserve credits/repurpose them for other data points instead. You can connect almost any tool out there with Clay if you have access to the provider's API documentation, if that helps :)
