How's it going Clay, quick question: right now when it say found 5 contact, our manual method have always been sending to 5 different people at each company and it seem that Clay only draft 1 email for 1 lead. Any way I can get it to write an email for each of the 5 people it found?
Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) 🫶 Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table 😉
You can click on the list, click on "Write List Items to Other Table" and this way you will create a separate row in the other table for each person. Now, from the new table where you have each person in a separate row you can do the email writing and sending.
okay so if I reach out to 5 people in the same company, i need to have 5 different tables?
No, you will have one table, no matter the number of companies and people per company, if you use the "Write List Items to Other Table" to other table integration.
Same issue - not getting the write to table option like i got with linkedin
help Nikhil out here
Hey, sorry for the delay! Happy to check it out Nikhil Bajaj, if you're still having some trouble. Also, here's a quick video about this feature: https://www.loom.com/share/841cc9c009194f1688bbd134b3e4f388
Arturo (Clay) follow up question on write to table - anyway we can have it write to an existing table? Meaning if I found 5 people on Apollo - then I would be able to write all 5 in one table?
Also what's the difference between Claygent and Clay's web scraper
To clarify, do you want to import them into the same table you found them in? We don't have the option enabled to Write to the same table because that could potentially create a loop... Example: You have 1 company and using the domain you find 5 contacts in a single cell -> if you extract that into their own rows below and include the domain for each one because you'd like to find emails you would map the domain to the same existing column, right? -> but since you have other enrichments using that same column as input (i.e. finding people), you're going to re-run the entire process over and over
Hope that makes sense as to why you have to export/write them to a separate table. Now, that the target table can consolidate results from various other sources, that being your "master contact table" where they get enriched and prevent the loop above.
Claygent is an AI web scraper :), it uses chatGPT to browse the web and return insights you describe in the prompt. Scrape website just scrapes a website you give it in the input, but it's that, it can't paginate to collect more info from other pages, just the one.
