Is there a way to copy paste a column from a people search table into another people search table? We often run the same enrichments and this would be helpful. If there's a better approach please advise- thank you. π
Yes, there are two main ways to transfer column data between tables:
1. Write to Table Integration
Use our "write to table" feature for column mapping - it transfers specific columns from one table to another, keeping data aligned and consistent. Click "Add Enrichment" β search "Write to Table" β map your existing data fields to corresponding columns in your destination table.
2. Send Table Data
Go to Actions
β Send table data
β select destination table β choose Send row
β select which columns to send.
Better Approach: Lookup Columns
To avoid duplicate enrichments and save credits, use Lookup columns to pull existing enriched data from other Clay tables instead of re-running the same enrichments. This prevents duplicate work and conserves your credits.
Hello Nicolas! Thanks for reaching out! I wanted to ask- is the setup the part you want to duplicate or the people data? If it is the entire setup you can simply duplicate the table or even save it as a template. If it is the People data you can send it to your destination table using Send Table Data. Let me know if you have any further questions!
You canβt directly copy paste a column between tables but hereβs a better way: Use βSend to Tableβ to move or sync rows (with columns) from one People table to another. This way you can reuse enrichments without redoing everything.
Hi Nicolas! It looks like my teammate was able to help you out here, but let me know if you have further questions! I'll close the ticket out for now. π
