Issues with Data Writing in Clay Integration: Blank Fields Encountered
Hey team, having issues writing data from a column to another table the clay integration says row created but field is blank
There could be a couple of reasons for this issue: 1. If you're trying to write a list value, the data might not be properly formatted as a list. To fix this, try adding the list through the "Other data from this table" section. You can find a detailed video tutorial here: https://cln.sh/DpHTlNt0. 2. This could be related to how certain fields are displayed in Clay. Some fields may appear blank in the destination table if: • They contain object fields with raw data values • Integration fields show "run condition not met" To troubleshoot, try refreshing your screen and clearing your cache, as this sometimes resolves display issues with the data.

Stefano··Hi Leo, thank you for reaching out. The reason you are having this issue is because I believe you instead want to use a Lookup enrichment, as you are trying to add information to rows that already exist. This video explains how to set up and use a lookup function in 2 minutes. I suggest using a unique identifier such as LinkedIn URL or company domain in order to find the row you are looking for. The "write to other table" functionality actually only works if you want to create new, individual rows. If you look at row 1443, you will see that you were able to add the information to its own column, but only under the rows that already exist in the table. This is why using a Lookup might actually solve your issue. Let me know if this helps!
